One out of five children ages ten to seventeen years old receive unwanted sexual solicitations online. The FBI estimates that there is a sex offender living in every square mile of the United States. The re-arrest rate for child molesters is 52%. One out of four girls and one out of six boys will experience some form of sexual abuse before the age of eighteen. Researchers estimate that 20 million Americans have been victims of parental incest as children. 95% of molested individuals knew their molester before the act. |

Children are most often sexually abused by someone they know – three quarters of reported cases of child sexual abuse are committed by family members or other individuals who are considered part of the victim's circle of trust. Child molesters come from all backgrounds and social classes; however, most molesters are male, work in an environment surrounded by children, befriend the parents first, then gain the child's trust by attending such activities as sports, camping, and family events. Pedophiles are often likeable and engaging. Abusers often do not use physical force but rather play deception threats or other forms of coercion to engage children and maintain their silence. Abusers frequently employ persuasive and manipulative tactics to keep the child engaged; these tactics are referred to as "grooming" and may include buying gifts or arranging special activities that can further confuse the victim. Because child abuse is by its nature very secretive, many cases are never reported. WHEN A CHILD IS MOLESTED, RAPED THROUGH INCEST OR THE CIRCLE OF TRUST, IT MUTATES AND MURDERS THE VERY SPIRIT OF THAT CHILD AND THEIR IDENTITY. THEIR CHILDHOOD INNOCENCE IS STOLEN. THEIR MIND, NERVOUS SYSTEM, AND LEARNING ABILITY ARE AFFECTED. THE CHILD MAY NOW SUFFER FROM SPLIT PERSONALITY OR DISSASSOCATION BECAUSE THE TRAMA IS SO GREAT THEY HAVE NO WAY OF ESCAPE BUT TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE OR BE SOMEONE ELSE IN THEIR MIND. SOME OF THESE CHILDREN ARE LABELED AS HAVING A DISABILITY, BUT THE ONLY DISABILITY THAT CHILD HAD WHEN THEY WERE BORN WAS THE FAMILY THEY WERE BORN INTO. TRAUMA OF ANY KIND CAN DAMAGE A CHILD FOR LIFE. THIS INCLUDES DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, MOLESTATION, BEATINGS, ETC. ALL I CAN SAY IN MY CASE IS THAT JESUS HEALS, SAVES, AND RESTORES. WHAT THE DEVIL MEANT FOR EVIL, GOD MADE GOOD – SO HERE I AM SPEAKING OUT FOR THE MOST VULNERABLE PART OF OUR POPULATION, THE CHILDREN. I WILL BE THE VOICE OF THE VOICELESS SO MAYBE JUST MAYBE SOMEONE WILL PAY ATTENTION LONG ENOUGH TO JOIN ME IN HELPING TO MAKE IT STOP. WILL YOU DO YOUR PART TO HELP? SOME FAMILY SECRETS YOU JUST CAN'T KEEP, THEY WILL DESTROY YOU FROM THE INSIDE OUT, IT'S OK TO TELL, IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT, BREAK YOUR SILENCE AND HELP MAKE IT STOP. |

In 2001, 840,279 adults and children were reported missing to the FBI National Crime Information Center (NCIC). The FBI estimates that of those, 750,000 (2000 a day) were children. Every forty seconds a child goes missing or is abducted in the United States. |

All it takes is seconds of a parent turning their back and their child can be gone for good. Pedophiles watch and carefully plan their abductions. If we fail to have a security plan and execution that exceeds that planning, we cannot protect our children or those children placed in our care. If you do your part and I do mine, together with the power of Christ we can change the lives of many, pull the innocent from the hands of evil, and/or prevent them from getting in their hands in the first place. Together we can MAKE IT STOP. LOVE YOUR KIDS ENOUGH TO NOT BE SO BUSY THAT YOU ARE BLINDED TO THE PREDATOR NEXT DOOR. GET INVOLVED IN YOUR KIDS LIVES, KNOW THEIR FRIENDS, KNOW WHERE THEY ARE AND WHO THEY ARE WITH, WHO THEY ARE TALKING TO ON THE INTERNET. GET EDUCATED, GET INVOLVED, TAKE ACTION, SUPPORT, LOVE, EDUCATE, AND BUILD UP YOUR CHILDREN. GET HELP IF YOU NEED IT – CHILDREN DON'T DESERVE TO BE VICTIMS. DON'T THINK IT CAN'T HAPPEN TO YOUR FAMILY, DON'T BE DECEIVED, GET INVOLVED, MAKE IT STOP. |

According to the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF), over thirty million children have been sexually exploited through human trafficking in the last thirty years. Thirteen million children around the world are presently victims of human trafficking. The FBI estimates over 100,000 children and young women are trafficked in America today with an average starting age of eleven years old. Many victims are not just runaways or abandoned children but come from good families. 52% of human trafficking recruiters are men; 42% are women; and approximately 75% to 80% of human trafficking is for sex. An estimated 30,000 victims of sex trafficking die each year from abuse, disease, torture and neglect. 80% of those sold into sexual slavery are under the age of twenty-four, some as young as six years old. Human trafficking is often the "hidden crime." Researchers estimate 80% of trafficking victims are female and over 50% of human trafficking victims are children. In 54% of human trafficking cases the recruiter is a stranger but, more astounding, the other 46% of the cases are by someone the victim knows. Human trafficking around the globe is estimated to generate a profit of anywhere from $9-31 billion. Half of the profits are made in industrialized, “civilized” countries. |

Countries that rank high as supply countries for human trafficking include Belarus, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Albania, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Romania, China, Thailand, and Nigeria. Belgium, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Thailand, Turkey and the United States are ranked high on the consumption list of the demand for sex trafficking victims to service them with forced prostitution and sex slavery. Yes, sex trafficking might just be down the street from you. Women are trafficked to the US largely to work in the sex industry including in strip clubs, peep and touch shows, and massage parlors that offer sexual services and prostitution. Remember the average starting age is eleven to thirteen years old. Every time you see a missing children's poster, think about that and don't take it lightly. Most human trafficking in the United States occurs in New York, California, and Florida. Sex traffickers often recruit children because they are not only more unsuspecting and vulnerable than adults but also because there is a high market and demand for young victims. Traffickers target victims on the telephone, Internet, through friend parties/sleep overs, at the mall, and at after school programs. Sex traffickers use a variety of ways to "condition" their victims including subjecting them to starvation, rape, gang rape, physical abuse, beatings, confinement, and threats of violence toward victim's families. Some human traffickers recruit handicap young girls such as those suffering from Downs Syndrome into the sex industry. Airports are often used by human traffickers to hold slave auctions to sell women and children into prostitution. Human traffickers can earn up to 20 times what they pay for a girl. Once her spirit is broken, she is worth more for the next trafficker. A single sex slave can make a pimp $250,000 a year. Human traffickers often then use these "broken girls" to recruit younger girls into the sex trade. Human traffickers are increasingly trafficking pregnant women for their newborns. Babies are sold on the black market where the profit is divided between the traffickers, doctors, lawyers, board officials and others—yes, well-educated people in high positions. Family members often sell children into sex slavery; the younger the victim, the more money they receive. Ten year old Gita was sold into a brothel by her aunt; she is now twenty-two years old and recalls when she refused to work as a sex slave that the older girls held her down and stuck a piece of cloth in her mouth so no one would hear her screams as she was raped by a customer. She would later contract HIV aids… “Child sex vacations” are common for prominent, “upstanding” members of society including doctors, lawyers, etc. Men purchase little children as young as five years old for $25 a night for sexual services. If you have children, take a look at your five year old and imagine that. Watch your children, protect them with your life--no child deserves to live as a sex slave to grown men. Human trafficking is a global phenomenon that is fueled by poverty and gender discrimination. Human traffickers often work with corrupt governments officials to obtain travel documents and seize passports. The screams of abused children fall on deaf ears because society is too busy with self-gratification and greed to remember morality. The western presence in Kosovo, such as NATO troops and civilians, has fueled the rapid growth in sex trafficking and forced prostitution. Amnesty International has reported that NATO soldiers, UN police, and Western aid workers operated with impunity in participating and exploiting the victims of sex trafficking. The very people who are supposed to bring peace and protect these people are raping them for money. |
